Every Breath Counts
Lost in deep, hostile space, your spaceship has broadcasted a distress signal. Rescue arrives in 100 turns—but so does the enemy. Fortunately, the ship is fully autonomous and can be upgraded on the fly by thawing out vital crew members from cryo-storage and harvesting essential resources from asteroids.
Tips:
- First of all you need oxygen. Without oxygen the game is over.
- Food is required to expand the crew. They are awakened from cryo-storage. In the event of a food shortage, the people will turn to cannibalism. It is possible to exceed the crew limit; however, doing so will cause them to consume even more food.
- You need people to work in Hydroponic Farm, Research & Development, Armory and Asteroid Mining. Shield Generator and Oxygen Generator works by pure energy.
- Upgrading buildings increases their workforce capacity (or energy capacity). Conversely, for the reactor and the solar panels, an upgrade increases their energy output.
- In battle, you fire first. If your ammunition is not enough to eliminate the target, the enemy fires back. If your shields fail to hold, some crew members will die. The rounds then repeat until someone loses.
- Defeating enemies rewards a vast amount of resources.

Great little simulator concept. Tried to be a nice captain the first time, failed. Then I woke up the next day as a murdering cannibal space pirate.
